As a Junior: The Jennies only All-MIAA First Team selection in 2018, Dames collected the honor as a utility player after hitting .328 with a .433 slugging percentage and .388 on base percentage … Of her 44 hits, nine went for extra bases with six doubles, one triple and two home runs … Led the Jennies with 32 runs scored and drove in 19 … Was successful in 13 of her 14 stolen base attempts … Had 12 multiple hit games with two three-hit games … Was the Jennies leading hitter with runners in scoring position hitting .366 and with two outs hitting .394 … Drove in 10 two-out RBI … Made starts in 45 games at second base, shortstop, designated player and in the outfield and was named all-conference as a utility player … Named an NFCA Scholar Athlete.

At Jefferson College: A two-time All-Conference and All-Region selection on the infield. The Vikings also won two regional titles and a conference crown during Dames' two years.

In High School: Played four years for Fort Zumwalt North High School where she took first place four times in the conference and three times in the district. Dames was a four-time All-Conference selection in high school and All-Metro as a senior.
