DeMarkco Butler joined Mules football is 2022 and serves as the program's Assistant Athletic Director for Football Operations and Player Personnel. 

Butler arrived in Warrensburg with experience as a Director of Football Operations at both Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and Western Illinois University in Macomb, Ill.

As a director of operations, Butler coordinated the day-to-day operations of each football program and served as the liaison between the football program and external agencies and departments.

Butler also helped coordinate recruiting events and organized all team travel logistics (meals, hotels, buses, flights, etc.).

Before beginning his director of operations positions in 2016, he served as a Graduate Assistant for Facilities, Events and Game Day Operations at Western Illinois for a year and was an Operations Assistant for WIU Athletics from 2014-2015.

Butler graduated from Monmouth College with a bachelor's degree in communications and business and Spanish minors in 2010 and earned a master’s degree in sport management from Western Illinois in 2016.
