Codie Bell is in his first season as the Assistant Secondaries Coach for Mules football.
Bell is no stranger to the Mules, though, as he was a standout safety for the Mules from 2017-2021. He was a two-time All-MIAA honoree, four-year starter and two-time team captain for Central Missouri and is the all-time solo tackler leader in UCM history with 207 solo tackles. In addition, he was part of the Mules' 2019 MIAA Championship team and was named a College Sports Communicators Academic All-American in 2021.
Before returning to Warrensburg as the Assistant Secondaries Coach in the spring of 2024, Bell was the safeties coach at Blue Springs High School.
He graduated from UCM with a bachelor's degree in finance in 2020 and earned a master's degree in business administration from Central Missouri in 2021.
