Levi Meyer is in his first season with the Mules Baseball after spending the last two seasons at Allen Community College as an Assistant Coach.

While at Allen, Meyer assisted with recruiting while working with catchers, hitters and coaching third base during games. The Red Devils finished the year with players nationally ranking in the top-25 in batting average, top-50 in RBIs and top-10 in home runs. As a team, the Red Devils finished in the top-20 nationally in home runs, on base percentage and slugging percentage. In two years, Meyer coached 13 All-Conference players along with two All-Region selections and a Region Gold Glove winner.

A native of Wichita, Kan., Meyer attended Goddard High School, and upon graduation, he attended Iowa Western Community College. At IWCC, he contributed to a third place finish in the 2011 World Series and a Junior College National Championship in 2012.

After Iowa Western, Meyer attended Florida Atlantic University and helped FAU win the Sun-Belt Conference Tournament Championship in 2013 and receive a bid to the Chapel Hill Regional to take on the #1 overall ranked University of North Carolina Tar Heels. The Owls forced a winner-take-all game which ended in extra innings in favor of the Tar Heels. Meyer was selected Team Captain by his teammates for the 2014 season and following the season was awarded the FAU Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
