Eli McFadden is in his second season as the pitching coach for the Mules baseball program in 2025.
In his first season as pitching coach, he helped lead the Mules to the MIAA Regular Season and NCAA Division II Central Regional Championships in 2024 as UCM compiled an overall record of 52-10 and a MIAA mark of 29-4. Central Missouri advanced to the College World Series for the 20th time in program history.
McFadden coached 2024 All-American and MIAA and D2CCA Central Region Pitcher of the Year Conner Wolf, as well as MIAA Co-Freshman of the Year pitcher Jack Scott and All-MIAA arms Jake Wilson and Harrison Babbitt.
A native of Vallejo, Calif., McFadden joined UCM after serving as the Double-A Assistant Pitching Coach for the Kansas City Royals.
McFadden also served as pitching coach at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan., and was the Director of Pitching at Kansas City Strength and Conditioning.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Sterling College in Sterling, Kan., and an MBA from Southwestern College.
Eli and his wife, Ashlyn, got married in June 2022.
