2012 • Junior: Earned All-MIAA Third Team honors for the second straight season ... averaged 2.26 kills per set, the third highest average on the team, with a .225 hitting percentage ... Reached double-digit kills in 11 matches ... 14 kills in the season-opening win over Indianapolis ... Led the Jennies with 10 kills in the four-set victory at Pittsburg State ... Matched her career high with 4 blocks against Washburn on Oct. 13 ... One of four players to lead the team with 11 kills in the win over Southwest Baptist on Oct. 26 ... Set new career highs in kills and points at Fort Hays State on Nov. 10, with 22 kills and 24 points ... Appeared in all 33 matches this season, starting in 22.
2011 • Sophomore: Named to the All-MIAA Third Team after averaging 2.19 kills per set, the highest average among returning players for 2012 … Appeared in all 118 sets while starting 31 of 35 matches … Started the 2011 season strong, recording 10 kills while hitting .350, two service aces and five digs in the season opener against #9 Wayne State (Neb.) … Had back-to-back double-digit performances, with 12 kills at Truman followed by 10 kills against Missouri Western … Hit for a combined .429 over those two matches … Led the Jennies in kills in three matches … Earned a team-high 13 kills at #5 Washburn … Hit for a career-high .692 at Southwest Baptist (10-1-13) … Set a career-high with 19 kills at Missouri Western … In the first round of the South Central Regional, Goodness led the Jennies with 16 kills against Abilene Christian … Led the Jennies in blocks in two matches, with three blocks against Pittsburg State and St. Mary’s.
2010 • Freshman: Honorable Mention All-MIAA with the team’s fifth highest kills/set (2.03), kills (215), and points/set (2.22) … Started five matches while appearing in 34 of 37 matches as a true freshman … Hit for double-figure kills in seven matches, including a a career high 14 kills on three occasions … On Oct. 30 she tallied 14 kills on 20 attempts with only 2 errors for a .600 hitting percentage vs. Fort Hays State.
In High School: A Kansas 5A State Player of the Year as a senior, she helped her squad to the state playoffs her final two seasons for head coach Mary Pat Weese at Salina South … She is also a three-time all-state selection, two-time all-state tournament team pick … A three-time first-team all-league selection, and once picked to the second-team, she also earned all-county and team MVP three times … The four-year letterwinner holds the top three spots for single season kills in school history … helped the squad to a couple league titles as well … She also played basketball and was a high-jumper for the track team … On the court she was a four-year letterwinner, earning all-county, first-team all-conference, and all-state … On the track she was an all-league pick, and qualified for state twice, taking second in 2009, and fifth in 2008
