2024: Appeared in 92 sets over 25 matches making 14 starts for the Jens... Led the team with 325 kills, averaging 3.53 per set while ranking fourth on the team with 45 total blocks and collecting 46 digs en route to being named to the All-MIAA Second Team... Recorded double-digit kills in 21 matches including three matches with 20 or more... Had a career-high 23 kills on 46 swings (.370 hitting percentage) against Pittsburg State (Nov. 16) inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center en route to being named the MIAA Offensive Player of the Week... Collected a career-best eight digs while adding a match-high 11 kills in the sweep of Missouri Southern (Oct. 8) in Joplin... Posted a career-high four blocks in the road victory over Arkansas-Fort Smith (Nov. 2) adding 12 kills for good measure... Earned the MIAA Academic Honor Roll award for her work in the classroom. 

2023: Appeared in nine sets over seven matches as a freshman for the Jens... Recorded 13 kills overall averaging 1.44 kills per set... Had a season-best four kills against Emporia State (Sept. 22)... Tallied three kills in both matches against the Newman Jets (Oct. 5 and Nov. 4) on 13 swings for a .461 hitting percentage.

In High School: Maya is a two-time First Team All-District and All-Conference selection in 2021 and 2022 for head coach Katie Streaka and the Blue Springs Wildcats... Fergerson was a Second Team All-District selection in 2020 helping Blue Springs to three district championships... The 2022 Independence Examiner Volleyball Player of the Year was also a member of the Wildcats track and field team... Fergerson earned All-State Academic honors for her achievements in the classroom.

Personal: Daughter of Troy and Melissa Fergerson... Majoring in Sport Management.
