2023-24: Played in 18 games for the Mules as a freshman making 10 starts... Averaged 8.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.4 assists in 24.3 minutes per contest... Finished the season recording double-figure scoring in eight games including a season-high 17 twice... Had 17 points in the 82-71 victory over Washburn (Jan. 10) highlighted by a perfect 5-for-5 from beyond the arc in 21 minutes of play... Recorded a team-best 17 points adding two steals against Northwest Missouri (Jan. 25) going a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range in 36 minutes...  Finished his freshman campaign going 27-for-62 from beyond the arc (43.5 percent) which is the eighth-best single-season mark in program history. 

In High School: Skillman was a standout basketball player for the Legacy School of Sport Science in Spring, Texas... Helped the Titans to a CIBA (Cyber Interscholastic Basketball Alliance) and conference championships in 2023... Prior to his time at Legacy, Skillman earned First Team All-District honors while attending Brother Martin High School in New Orleans.
