• MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023)

2023: Pitched in UCM's game at Missouri Western March 28. 

2022: Was out for the season due to injury.

2021: Made four appearances, posting a 1-0 record and 8.31 ERA...Gave up four earned runs on seven hits with five strikeouts and four walks in 4 1/3 innings.

2020: Redshirted in 2020, did not appear in any games .

In High School: Made three all-conference, all-district and all-state teams ... Matt played on the 2018 Missouri Jr. Sunbelt Team selected by the Missouri Coaches Association ... Was the I-70 Conference MVP in 2019 ... As a four-year starter, Matt pitched 188 innings while winning 23 and losing 4 (with five saves) ... He struck out 279 against 49 walks and a 1.43 ERA ... On offense, he had .372 BA, with 31 doubles and 8 home runs. Matt made Academic all-state three times while leading his team to three conference and district titles … Also lettered in basketball with three all-conference, all-district and one all-state nod, leading them to a district title (as MVP) ... Was selected to the KMZU Dream Team three years while scoring 1,297 points and 152 three-pointers … Set a number of baseball and basketball records at CHS ... Also, an all-state performer in instrumental music (silver medal) and vocal music (gold medal)…Was a member of the National Honor Society and selected for and participated in Boys State.
