At Barton CC: Arrives at Central Missouri after a successful two-year career for Coach Mike Perry's Lady Cougars at Barton Community College, including leading her team to two national junior college (NJCAA) National Championship 2 nd Place finishes … also won the 2020 NJCAA Women's Singles Championship and earned three other top-10 tournament finishes at BCC.

High School: Led the Manhattan High School (KS) to two trips to the KHSAA Girls State Bowling Championships (2017, 19) and finished first in eight of 11 tournaments she played in for the Lady Tigers her senior year … high game is 279, a high series of 734 and a high average of 211.

Personal: Daughter of Cindy and Tracy Newell … Alex is majoring in Wildlife Biology.
