2022: Played in a team-best 115 sets starting all 30 matches earning First Team All-MIAA honors... Led the team with 120 blocks and 112 block assists while averaging 1.04 blocks per set... Ranked first on the team with a .301 hitting percentage which was seventh-best in the MIAA ending the year with 226 kills (second-most for UCM) on 549 attempts averaging 1.97 kills per set... Was second on the team with 311 points averaging 2.7 points per set adding 21 service aces and five assists... Recorded six matches with double-digit kills including a season-best 14 kills, three blocks and one service ace against Nebraska-Kearney (Sept. 24)... Had a season-high eight blocks and 12 kills (a team-high .458 hitting percentage) against West Florida (Aug. 27)... Received the MIAA Scholar Athlete award and earned her third consecutive MIAA Academic Honor Roll selection for her work in the classroom. 

2021: Played in five matches and five sets...Tallied two kills on 12 attempts with six errors...Had one kill against Fort Hays State Oct. 9 and Missouri Southern Oct. 28...Tallied a service ace vs. Fort Hays State and had a pair of block assists against Missouri Southern...Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

2019: Redshirted in 2019, did not compete.

In High School: Earned four varsity letters for Carl Junction High School and Coach Cheryl Sharples ... Three-time First Team All-District selection and a member of the 2017 and 2018 All-State team ... As a senior was a First Team All-Conference selection and Second Team All-Conference as a junior ... Also made the All O-Zone Team in 2018 and played in the All-State Volleyball game ... Made the district championship all four years, winning districts as a junior and senior and was the Big 8 Conference Champions in 2015 with Carl Junction ... Also ran on the track team as a sophomore and junior, earning All-District, All-Conference and All-State with the 4x800m relay team in 2017 ... Made the All-State Academic team all four years.

Personal: Daughter of John and Kim Southern ... Majoring in Psychology.
