2021-22: Saw action in 29 contests, averaging 1.2 points 0.7 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game...Netted a season-best seven points at Northeastern State Jan. 20...Tallied a career-high-tying four assists at Northeastern State. 

2020-21: Played in 28 games, averaging 2.3 points, one rebound and 0.7 assists per game...Scored a career-high 10 points at Lincoln Dec. 12...Dished out a career-best four assists at Missouri Southern Feb. 6...

In High School: Brad Johnson, Head Coach at Farmington High School, has had Makenna Vanzant leading the Cardinals since she stepped on the floor as a freshman. Over her career at Farmington, Makenna has led her team to four straight state appearances, one championship, one ending in a Final Four and two ending at the Elite Eight. Makenna and Farmington were either the conference champs or runners-up all four years. Makenna has made 148 threes over her career, which helped push her over the 1,000 career points scored milestone as a junior and holds Farmington's all-time assist record  Over her first three years, Makenna averaged 14 points per game, five rebounds per game, five assists per game, two steals per game and been recognized as an All-State, All-Conference, All-Arkansas Preps, and KURM Dream Team performer at the end of each season. She was the Arkansas 4A State MVP as a senior along with the ArBCA top-5 and NWADG Player of the Year. Makenna will be joining former teammate, Madisyn Pence, who currently is a sophomore at UCM. Makenna spent her club career playing for two top programs, the Arkansas Mavericks, led by Chuck Ludgood and Matt Martin, and for the Oklahoma Shock under Head Coach / Program Director Ruben Diaz. Makenna is a member of the National Honor Society and was a High Honor Graduate with her 3.95 GPA.
