Biography

2021: Played in six games...Had nine tackles, including five solo and four assisted...Had an interception at Lincoln Oct. 30...Had a season-high four tackles (three solo, one assisted) vs. Emporia State Oct. 9.

2019: Appeared in seven of the Mules final nine games of the season on defense and special teams...Made his career debut at Missouri Southern (Oct. 5)...Picked up 11 tackles on the season...Had his first career pass breakup against Lincoln (Nov. 9)...Also had a career-high five tackles, two solo against the Blue Tigers. 

2018: Redshirted and did not appear in any games.

High School: Taylor competed at Desmet Jesuit High School under head coach Robert Steeples…In his sophomore season he was named Second Team All-Conference at cornerback, while leading his team in tackles and interceptions…In his senior season, he was a second team all-conference pick at safety and earned hammer award by his team…Also competed in track and field for three years as a jumper…Qualified for state in his sophomore year…Earned first honors academically every semester since freshman year of high school.
