MIAA Academic Honor Roll (2018, 2019, 2020)

2019-20: Set a new personal-best in the heptathlon scoring 4568 at the Mule Relays to win the event ... Competed in the multis at the MIAA Championship and finished ninth scoring 4537 points ... Set all sorts of PR's in individual events as well including the 60m (7.44), 1000m (3:00.68), 60mH (8.75), high jump (5-11.25), long jump (21-9.5) and shot put (40-0.75) ... Made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the third straight season ... Outdoor season was cancelled due to COVID-19. 

2018-19: (Indoor): Started out the year placing fifth at the UCM Mule Relays with 4327 points in the heptathlon ... Continued on to the UCM Classic(Feb. 16) where he scored a personal best in the 60H with a time of 9.02 placing fourth... Went on to compete in the heptathlon at the MIAA Championships where he scored his personal best of 4347 points and placed twelfth... (Outdoor): Competed mainly in the decathlon during the outdoor season but also scored a personal best in pole vault at the SBU Invite(Apr. 6) with a mark of 14-1.25 and secured second place...Went on to compete in the decathlon at the MIAA Championships where he had a personal best score of 6273 points and earned him ninth place overall....Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

2017-18: (Indoor): Competed in the Decathlon in his first season as a Mule...Had personal best in the 60m dash at the Central Missouri Invite with a time of 7.70...Finished eighth in his first Hep of the season at the MSSU Lion Open & Multi with 3591 points...Finished with another personal-best at the UCM Classic where he placed ninth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 9.32...(Outdoor): Competed in the Dec a the Wichita State Decathlon/Heptathlon and finished thirteenth with 5289 points...Set personal-bests all outdoor season in the 200m dash with a time of 24.59 at the Wendy's/PSU Invite...In the pole vault with a jump of 12-8.25...In javelin throw with a throw of 171-5...as well as in the discus throw with a toss of 94-2, all at the Mule Relays...Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In High School: Competed at Rockhurst High School in Overland Park, Kan. ... Was also a four-year letterwiner in football, where he helped his team to a state runner-up finish in 2015 ... Was a National Merit Finalist. 

Personal: Son of Paul and Susan Scholes ... Majoring in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
