As a freshman: Appeared in six games as a redshirt freshman in 2011 ... had 30 carries for 139 yards and a touchdown, averaging 4.6 yards per carry ... had seven rushes for 45 yards in the win at Fort Hays State and had career-highs 13 carries for 49 yards and a score in the win at Lincoln.

In high school: Head Coach: Jeff Williams - The two-time Most Valuable Player, he also earned first team All-Golden Valley League at running back ... averaged a team-high 99.1 yards per game on the ground as a senior for the 10-3 Falcons, while also scoring nine touchdowns ... also a first team All-Valley pick, he was named the Valley Press Athlete of the Week two times ... played in the CIF All-Star Game and the High Desert All-Star Game.
