As a junior: Had 57 tackles to rank third on the team while appearing in all 12 games ... made 10 starts at strong safety ... had career-high 10 tackles against Northwest Missouri ... intercepted two passes in a win over Arkansas Tech ... was a first team CoSIDA Academic All-American and a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll with a 3.98 GPA in finance.

As a sophomore: Started nine games at safety before getting injured against UNO... He recorded 36 tackles, a breakup, and a blocked kick ... named to MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
As a freshman: Played in the first eight games before an injury shut him down, but made two starts at strong safety... tallied 21 tackles, including a career-high five against Pittsburg State... also recorded a half sack, forced fumble and a recovery against Southwest Baptist... grabbed his first career interception against Truman State... earned MIAA Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.

As a redshirt: Blocked a punt against Emporia State before getting injured in that game... received a medical redshirt... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... true redshirt season came in 2007.

In high school: Head Coach: Tim Callahan – Played his sophomore and junior seasons at Mansfield Timberview High School in Mansfield, Texas before moving to Kansas and Shawnee Mission West for his senior season… as a senior, he played in the first three games before suffering a season ending injury but was a pre-season first-team all-state pick… He was a two-time team captain and an all-district linebacker and tailback as a sophomore and junior… He also earned a berth on the all-academic team twice.

Personal: Finance major with a 3.98 GPA ... son of Jaime Ginn and Gabrielle Wyatt.
