As a junior: Played in all 12 games, making eight starts ... recorded 48 tackles, including 23 solo stops from his linebacker position ... had 3.5 tackles for loss as well.

As a sophomore: Played in every game at linebacker, starting the last eight ... recorded 53 tackles, including six for a loss, an interception, and 1.5 sacks... He recorded his pick against Southwest Baptist in the season opener.

As a freshman: Saw action in two games, making two tackles...  Redshirted in 2008.

In high school: Head Coach: Jason Godfrey – A first-team all-conference and all-district selection, he also earned honorable mention all-metro honors as a senior, as well as the school’s most outstanding athlete... as a junior he was a second-team all-conference pick... also wrestled for Grandview, and was a two-time state qualifier... he was second-team all-league as a senior, and honorable mention as a junior.

Personal: Undecided on a major ... son of Wayne Carter... his uncle Wayne also played football at UCM in 1994-95.
