2019-20: Set a new indoor personal-best in the pole vault clearing 17-3.5 at the MIAA Championships where he tied for first in height, but took second due to number of attempts ... Moved to fifth all-time in UCM history in the indoor pole vault ... Was ranked second in Division II in the pole vault heading into the National Championship meet and earned an All-American award after the meet was canceled due to COVID-19 ... In the classroom was named a First Team Academic All-American, an MIAA Scholar Athlete and made the MIAA Academic Honor Roll for the fourth straight year ... Outdoor season was canceled due to COVID-19.
2018-19: (Indoor): Improved his personal best jump to 17-0 at the UCM Mule Relays placing first...Placed fourth at the MIAA Indoor Championships clearing a mark of 16-7.5...Traveled to the NCAA Championships where he finished eighth with a mark of 16-11...
(Outdoor): Improved upon his personal best at the Gorilla Classic with a mark of 17-5 placing first...placed 3rd at the MIAA championships clearing 16-9.25...went on to place eighth again at the NCAA Championships clearing 16-3.5.
2017-18: (Indoor): Jumped a personal-best of 16-8 placing second at the Gorilla Classic...Placed third at the MIAA Indoor Conference Championships, clearing 16-7.5...Traveled to the NCAA Indoor National Championships clearing 16-6.75 placing ninth...
(Outdoor): Placed fifth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships clearing 16-3.25...Named to the Academic Honor Roll.
2016-17: (Indoor): Jumped a season-best 15-11.25 in the pole vault in his first meet of the year, the PSU Crimson and Gold Invitational … Took fourth place at the MIAA Championships, clearing the 15-10 bar ...
(Outdoor): Did not compete … Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll
Before UCM: Three time winner of the Czech Republic Under 20 National Championship in the pole vault and one time second-place finisher.
Personal: Son of Jiri Janski and Jana Janska … Majoring in Sport and Fitness Management.
