Reached double-digit digs for the first time in her career in her first career start, with 13 digs in the win over Missouri Southern on Oct. 23 ... Had a streak of 19 consecutive matches without a service error ... Had double-digit digs in three straight matches from Nov. 9-13 ... Career high 17 digs in the MIAA Tournament win over Washburn on Nov. 16.

2011 • Freshman: Appeared in 25 matches as a true freshman, playing in 52 of the Jennies’ 118 sets … Dealt out three services aces on the year … Committed only one service error in 89 serves to post a team-high .989 serve percentage … 18 total digs on the year, for a 0.35 per set average … Earned her first career ace at Missouri S&T … Also recorded aces against both St. Edward’s and Missouri Western … Currently holds a streak of 21 consecutive matches without a single service error … Also holds a a streak of 77 consecutive serves without a service error … Played in all three sets against Drury, recording three digs … Season- and career-high four digs at Fort Hays State … Played in one set at the South Central Regional, serving twice against Abilene Christian.

In High School: Part of a three-time Kansas 5A state runner-up team where she earned all-state tournament team honors as a senior, as well as Eastern Kansas League honorable mention under Head Coach Kim Bogart … Rooney holds career and single season dig records for the Saints.
