  • No. 25 Central Missouri continues the 2026 season on Friday, Sept. 4, as they take on No. 2 Wayne State (Neb.) Wildcats at 11:00 a.m. (CST), before taking on the Regis Rangers (1-3, 0-0 RMAC) at 3:00 p.m. (CST), during the opening day of the Colorado Premier Challenge, inside Regis Field House in Denver, Colo.
  • For the 473rd time in program history, the Jens are ranked in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches' Association) Taraflex Division II poll, released on Monday, August 31. Central Missouri is one of five teams from the MIAA conference featured in the top-25, including No. 6 Washburn, No. 8 Nebraska-Kearney, No.11 Missouri Western, and No. 15 Central Oklahoma, while Emporia State is receiving votes.   
  • Central Missouri is one of seven teams ranked in the latest AVCA Division II Top-25 poll that are taking part in the Colorado Premier Challenge this weekend, including No. 2 Wayne State (Neb.), No. 3 Concordia-St. Paul, No. 5 Ferris State, No. 7 MSU-Denver, No. 14 Angelo State, and No. 25 West Texas A&M. Three additional teams participating in the tournament are receiving votes in this week's poll, including Anderson, Bentley, and Palm Beach Atlantic.  
  • The Jens went 2-2 last weekend at the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament, picking up a four-set victory (15-25, 25-12, 26-24, 25-19) over No. 6 Barry Buccaneers (1-2, 0-0 SSC) and a five-set win (14-25, 25-23, 25-23, 17-25, 15-11) over receiving votes Grand Valley State Lakers (3-1, 0-0 GLIAC), hosted by Bentley University in Waltham, Mass.
 
How to Watch
  • Every match of the Sandy Hoffman Memorial Tournament will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the RMAC Network. Coverage begins at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Friday morning, from the Regis Field House, on the campus of Regis University in Denver, Colo.

Meet the Jens
  • Central Missouri returns 12 players from last year's squad, while adding two transfers, and four freshmen.
  • Middle blocker/Opposite Ashlynn Jaccard spent the previous two seasons playing for Cowley CC (Kan.) while sophomore Bella Holcomb transferred from Butler CC (Kan.).  
  • Setter Chloe Rauner (Omaha, Neb.), outside hitter Nora Wiley (Quincy, Ill.), middle blocker/right side Mia Lieberman (Caseyville, Ill.), and defensive specialist/libero Evynn Olsen (Omaha, Neb.) are entering their first season of collegiate volleyball.  
 
Series History
  • No. 2 Wayne State (Neb.): Heading into play on Friday morning, the Jens and Wayne State (Neb.) will play for just the fifth time in program history, as both teams have split the previous four meetings with the latest resulting in a four-set victory (20-25, 19-25, 25-21, 18-25) for the Wildcats during the opening match of the 2015 NCAA Central Regional in St. Paul, Minn.  
  • Regis: Friday afternoon will be the 24th match between the Rangers and Central Missouri all-time, with the Jens holding a 15-8 advantage, including a record of 6-1 inside Regis Field House while taking three of the last four meetings.
