ALLENDALE, Mich.— Central Missouri Mules Golf finished tied eighth after completing the last round of the 54-hole tournament, Midwest/Central Regional Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at The Meadows at Grand Valley State.

The mules shot 12-over par today to total a 888 (299, 293, 296) for a tie in eighth place with Pittsburg State. Grand Valley State took home the title at their home course with an 862 (+10) 

Newcomer Brad Storrer was the mules' best finisher, going 7-over par to total 220 (74,72,74) to finish in a tie for 22nd. 

Next for the Mules was Archer Schnieders, who posted rounds of 74,77,72 to finish tied for 34th at 223  (+10). Henry Manning, competing as an individual, also sits tied for 34th after carding back-to-back rounds of 73 and a 77 for the final round for a 223 (+10).


Finishing tied for 47th was junior Will Boyd, who went 10-over in the last round to total a 225 (73,71,81) for 12-over par. Next, Kale Flinton moved up two spots, finishing in a tie for 67th with a 228 (80,73,75)

Rounding out the Mules lineup, junior Lawson Barks is tied for 73rd after recording rounds of 78, 77 and 75 for a 230 (+17).

Central Missouri heads to St. Joseph, Mo., to compete in the Missouri Western Holiday Inn Express Classic on Sept. 28 and 29th at the St. Joseph Country Club.
