ALLENDALE, Mich.— Central Missouri Mules Golf sits tied for eighth after the opening 36 holes of the Midwest/Central Regional Preview on Monday, Sept. 14, at The Meadows at Grand Valley State.
The Mules carded team rounds of 299 and 293 to finish the day with a 36-hole total of 592 (+24). Wayne State (Mich.) leads the tournament at 575 (+7).
Junior
Will Boyd paced the Mules on the individual leaderboard, firing rounds of 73 and 71 for a 36-hole total of 144 (+2), placing him in a tie for 13th.
Brad Storrer posted rounds of 74 and 72 to finish the day tied for 24th at 146 (+4).
Henry Manning, competing as an individual, also sits tied for 24th after carding back-to-back rounds of 73 for a 146 (+4).
Archer Schnieders finished the opening day tied for 52nd after rounds of 74 and 77 for a 151 (+9), while
Kale Flinton sits tied for 68th with a 153 (+11) following rounds of 80 and 73.
Rounding out the Mules lineup, junior
Lawson Barks is tied for 82nd after recording rounds of 78 and 77 for a 155 (+13).
Central Missouri will close out the 54-hole Midwest/Central Regional Preview on Tuesday, Sept. 15, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at The Meadows.
