ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf is looking to defend its title at
the 2026 NCAA-II Central Regional Tournament starting Monday, May 4, at St. Joseph Country
Club in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Jennies have continued to put up strong performances this season with four wins and two
top-five finishes as they head into the regional. The team is coming off a fourth place finish at
the MIAA Women's Golf Championship April 20-22 in Warrensburg at Mules National Golf Club.
The NCAA-II Central Regional format is a 54-hole competition. The top five (central), four
(south), four (east), and five (west) teams, along with the top six individuals not on an advancing
team, will advance to the championships.
The Jennies enter this tournament with high expectations, having won the 2025 title and
finishing runner-up twice in their last seven regional appearances. The anticipated lineup for the
Jennies is
Libby Green,
Kiki Bruner,
Ansley Giesselmann,
Hannah Mottert, and
Addy Davis.
Hannah Mottert is coming off a top-10 finish in the MIAA Championship and was an Honorable
Mention All-MIAA selection. The Freshman has three top-10 finishes and averages 76.60 over
20 rounds.
Libby Green, a senior, was named to the All-MIAA Second Team for her performance this
season. She compiled two top-10 finishes, including finishing in a tie for second at the Midwest
Intercollegiate Invitational, and has an average of 75.65 over 26 rounds.
Ansley Giesselmann, a freshman, was named to the All-MIAA Third Team after a strong
performance this season. She maintained a 75.70 average throughout the season.
Giesselmann has secured one individual victory and three top-10 finishes across nine events.
Her best performance includes a low round of 68 in the first round of the Midwest Classic and a
low 54-hole tournament score of 210.
Kiki Bruner, a redshirt-senior, has two top-10 finishes and holds a 76.46 average over 26
rounds. Additionally, Freshman
Addy Davis has one top-10 finish and has recorded a 79.65
over 17 rounds.
The first round of the NCAA-II Central Regional Tournament will begin Monday, May 4.
