MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. – The No. 33 Central Missouri Jennies Golf team opened play at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Sunday with a first-round score of 301 (+13), placing tied for fourth after the opening round at Sandestin Resort – Baytowne.
No. 33 Central Missouri shares fourth place with Washburn at +13 in a competitive field. UT Tyler leads the tournament at +3, followed by Flagler (+7) and Mississippi College (+12).
The Jennies were led by
Hannah Mottert and
Kiki Bruner, who each carded 1-over 72 and sit tied for 10th individually heading into the next round.
Libby Green followed with a 3-over 74, while
Ansley Giesselmann finished the day at 79 and Addison Davis posted an 85.
Central Missouri will continue play at the Emerald Coast Collegiate Monday, March 9, beginning at 8 a.m. (CT) as the Jennies look to climb the leader board.
