Central Missouri won the opening set of the match by eight points, thanks to outhitting the Bearcats by a margin of .552 to .276 in the frame, highlighted by 5 kills on 6 swings (.833 attack percentage) from Lee's Summit, Mo. native Kaelyn McDonald (11 kills, six digs, and two blocks overall).

Northwest Missouri held a 23-22 lead in the second, but the Jens responded with a 3-0 run, with a kill from outside hitter Shaye Koski (seven kills and five digs overall), before McDonald had a service ace to double the UCM advantage.

With the score even at 11 in the third, sophomore Bria Dawson (seven kills and a career-high three digs overall) connected with a kill from Bella Holcomb (match-best 25 assists), and the Jens never relinquished en route to their ninth sweep of the season as UCM outhit the Bearcats by a margin of .333 to .164 on the night.

The Jens had a pair of hitters reach double-figure kills, including Blue Springs, Mo. native Maya Fergerson, who ended play with 11 kills on 27 swings (.370 hitting percentage), adding a pair of digs for good measure.
