WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The No. 25-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team wrapped up a busy weekend of action with a victory over the Cottey College Comets on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 11, at 10 Pin Alley in Nevada, Mo. In addition, UCM hosted the Mid-Missouri Masters on Saturday, Jan. 10, at Alley Cats in Warrensburg.
At Cottey College on Sunday, Central Missouri finished 2-0 on the day, picking up a pair of Baker Total Pinfall wins, defeating the Comets, 772-604 and 711-650. Central Missouri averaged 185.3 for the two matches against Cottey College.
In addition, UCM participated in three singles matches on Sunday, with
Camryn Cramer finishing first with a three-game series of 570 (190 average).
Sydney Lee finished second for the Jennies and overall with a 553 series (184.3 average).
At the Mid-Missouri Masters on Saturday at Alley Cats,
Emma Hawley and
Cynthia Phillips earned the Doubles title with a two-match score of 774 (193.5 average) while
Giana Nichols took the Singles Division with a three-match tally of 554 (184.7 average).
Central Missouri is back on the road this week, competing in the Sacred Heart University Northeast Classic Jan. 16-18 in New Castle, Del., at Bowlerama.
