GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Central Missouri Jennies (4-2, 0-0 MIAA) fell to the (RV) Findlay Oilers (5-1, 0-0 G-MAC) by a final score of 3-2 (25-15, 23-25, 25-23, 15-25, 12-15) on Saturday, Sept. 13, in the final day of the Hampton Inn & Suites Grand Rapids Downtown Classic inside the Davenport Student Center in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Central Missouri began the match on a 4-1 run en route to winning the opening set 25-15, led by redshirt sophomore
Emma Siron's six kills on 13 swings (.385 hitting percentage), adding a pair of digs and a block as the Jens outhit Findlay by a margin of .324 to .095. Siron, a native of Sedalia, Mo., ended the match with a career-high 19 kills and career-best 16 digs on the afternoon.
The Oilers tied the match with a 25-23 win in the second, before facing a tied score at 22 in set three. Siron gave the Jens the lead for good with her fourth kill of the frame, followed by kills from junior
Shaye Koski (10 kills, seven digs, and two blocks overall) and middle blocker
Kaelyn McDonald (nine kills, four blocks, and four digs overall) for a 25-23 win.
Findlay responded with victories in the fourth and fifth sets, claiming their fifth win of the season, led by double-double performances from Emma White and Hannah Miller.

Rachel Ziesman contributed nine kills and eight blocks. Middle blocker

Brenna Kelly collected 10 digs on the afternoon.
Central Missouri returns to the court on Friday, Sept. 19, taking on the Ouachita Baptist Tigers (6-1, 0-0 GAC). First serve is scheduled for 5:00 p.m., inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg, Mo., during the Comfort Inn Invitational.
