WARRENSBURG, Mo. – University of Central Missouri Athletics announced on Friday, July 11, the hiring of
Mariah Ahmann as the new head coach for the Mulekickers Dance Team.
Ahmann, a former Mulekicker and volunteer assistant coach, returns to the squad after spending the previous two years as the dance team coach at Warrensburg High School and as a dance instructor at Eva Moore's Performing Arts Center in the Kansas City area.
In addition to her new role as the head coach for the Mulekickers, Ahmann also teaches fourth grade at Sterling Elementary School in Warrensburg.
"It's an incredible honor to step into the role as head coach for the Mulekickers Dance Team – a program that helped shape me into the person I am today," Ahmann said. "As a former Mulekicker, I know firsthand the passion, discipline, and dedication this team represents. I'm thrilled to continue that legacy and lead these talented dancers as we push forward new levels of success and excellence, both on and off the sidelines."
The Mulekickers' first performance is slated for Mules Football's 2025 home opener, Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. against Colorado State-Pueblo at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field in Warrensburg.
