EDMOND, Okla. – No. 20-ranked University of Central Missouri Jennies Golf captured the first-ever NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship in program history on Wednesday, May 7, at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Okla.

With the first place finish, Central Missouri advances to the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship for the third time in program history and the first time since 2022.

The Jennies rolled to their inaugural regional crown, defeating the second place and No. 22-ranked Henderson State Reddies by 12 strokes with a new program record, 54-hole team score of 5-over par 845 (285-273-287). The Reddies tallied a three-round, 17-over par 857 (287-282-288) while Arkansas Tech rounded out the top three in third at 25-over par 865 (293-281-291).

Sophomore Maya McVey paced UCM on the leaderboard, finishing as the runner-up in the tournament after coming up short in a two-hole playoff against Arkansas-Fort Smith's Ali Perry. McVey tied Perry for first with a new Central Missouri 54-hole program record 1-under par 209 (70-68-71).

Senior Nicole Rallo tied for fourth with a career-best, three-round 3-over par 213 (73-70-70), redshirt junior Kiki Bruner (71-66-79) and junior Mia Rallo (71-69-76) tied for 11th at 6-over par 216, and junior Libby Green tied for 38th at 11-over par 221 (77-74-70), rounding out the Jennies scoring. Bruner's three-round 216 was a career-best.

The Jennies' team tally of 845 bested UCM's previous 54-hole program record by 28 strokes. UCM also set a new 18-hole round record of 7-under par 273 in the second round of the tournament on Monday.

The 2025 NCAA-II Women's Golf Championship is scheduled for May 13-17 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
