Mules Football Announces 2025 Schedule

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Five home games at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field highlight the 2025 University of Central Missouri Mules football schedule announced on Monday, May 19.

The Mules open their 2025 season with a road game at Delta State in Cleveland, Miss., Thursday, Aug. 28, before welcoming Colorado State-Pueblo to Warrensburg for the 2025 home opener on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m. The Thunderwolves were the top seed in the NCAA-II Playoffs out of Super Region 4 last season and posted an overall record of 10-2, including a 9-0 record in the Rock Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC).

UCM travels to St. Joseph, Mo., for its MIAA opener vs. Missouri Western Saturday, Sept. 20, prior to welcoming Missouri Southern to Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field for the annual UCM Family Weekend game Sept. 27 at 1 p.m.

A road trip to defending MIAA champion Central Oklahoma in Edmond, Okla., on Saturday, Oct. 4 kicks off UCM's October schedule before rival Northwest Missouri State comes to Warrensburg for a 1 p.m. tussle Saturday, Oct. 11.

The Mules trek to Topeka, Kan., for a MIAA showdown at Washburn Saturday, Oct. 18, and then host Emporia State in the annual UCM Homecoming Game on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 1:30 p.m. in the 'Burg.

Central Missouri begins its November schedule with a trip to Hays, Kan., for a contest at Fort Hays State Nov. 1 prior to hosting Pittsburg State at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, for Senior Day at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.

UCM wraps up its regular season with a trip to Nebraska Kearney on Saturday, Nov. 15, in Kearney, Neb.

The Mules are coming off a 9-3 season in 2024. UCM advanced to the postseason for a second straight season, defeating the University of Texas-Permian Basin in the Heritage Bowl, 39-37 in double overtime, Dec. 7 in Corsicana, Texas.

Cardinal and Black Fund and season ticket renewals for the 2025 Mules Football season will begin on Tuesday, May 27.
