WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The fourth-annual UCM Athletics and UCM Alumni Foundation Match Madness was conducted all day Tuesday, March 25, and furthered its excellence by raising $62,741 dollars for the Mules & Jennies programs.

During the day, 472 donors from 23 states combined to contribute over $60,000 raised for the UCM Athletics Department.

"Being a part of this event for the last two years continues to amaze me at the generosity of our UCM Athletics supporters," UCM Assistant Athletic Director for Development Ryan Snyder said. "Knowing that over 1,100 gifts have been made during my two years working on Match Madness is truly inspiring. This day is a prime example of why UCM is such a special place. To be able to provide our programs with over $62,000 dollars from this single day of giving is incredibly exciting!"

In its four years of existence, Match Madness has generated over $227,000 and 2,900 gifts for Mules and Jennies athletic programs.

"A sincere thank you to all those who supported this event and invested in our student-athletes, programs and staff. We look forward to continued success in this event and giving our Mules & Jennies the premier NCAA Division II athletics experience," Snyder added.
