Hogan Wasson Named 2025 AFCA Coaches Division II All-American

WACO, Texas – University of Central Missouri Mules Football's Hogan Wasson was named a 2025 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches First Team All-American at wide receiver, the organization announced on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

Wasson, who hails from Colleyville, Texas, becomes the 24th Mules Football student-athlete to be named a First Team All-American at least one time in their career and the fifth under head coach Josh Lamberson.

Wasson led NCAA Division II in receiving yards per game (100.9), ranked second in receptions per game (8.5), and was fifth in total receiving yards (1,009 yards) in 10 games during the 2025 season.

He garnered 2025 First Team All-MIAA honors and was a 2025 D2CCA All-Super Region 4 Second Team selection.

The AFCA's Division II All-America Selection Committee is made up of three head coaches from each of the AFCA's seven districts, one of whom serves as a district chairman, along with another head coach who serves as the chairman of the selection committee. The coaches in each district are responsible for ranking the top players in their respective districts prior to a conference call between the district chairmen and the committee chairman, on which the teams are chosen.
