BILLINGS, Mont. – The Central Missouri Mules (1-1, 0-0 MIAA) fell to the (Receiving Votes) Montana State-Billings Yellowjackets (2-0, 0-0 GNAC) by a final score of 80-75 Saturday, Nov. 8, in the second game of the 2025 D2CCA Tip-Off Classic from Alterowitz Gymnasium in Billings, Mont.
The Mules trailed by five at the break before tying the game at 55 with a basket from
Lazerek Houston (17 points, five rebounds, and three assists overall) and took a six-point lead with a three from the Lincoln, Neb. native with under 11 minutes to play.
MSU-Billings responded with an 8-0 run and never relinquished en route to their second win of the season, led by Miles Gurske's 17 points, five rebounds, five assists, and four steals.
Central Missouri was led by forward
Jevon Hill's 23 points, going 6-of-11 from the floor, including 5-of-10 from beyond the arc, adding six boards for good measure, while reigning MIAA Freshman of the Year
Kyran Tilley had 14 points, four rebounds, a team-high four assists, and two steals.

Trinell Parker grabbed a game-high seven rebounds, adding six points and two steals, plus guard
Naz Brown had five points on the afternoon.
The Mules out-rebounded MSU-Billings by a margin of 42-37 as sophomore
Deadric Fikes grabbed six boards and had three points, while Houston, Texas native
Noah Martin contributed four rebounds and two points.
The Mules conclude play at the 2025 D2CCA Tip-Off Classic Sunday, Nov. 9, as they take on the New Mexico Highlands Cowboys (0-2, 0-0 RMAC) at 10:00 a.m. (CST) inside Alterowitz Gymnasium in Billings.
