KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Six University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer student-athletes were named to the 2025 All-MIAA Women's Soccer Teams for their performances on the soccer pitch during the 2025 regular season, as announced by the conference office on Friday, Nov. 7.
Junior forward
Mikayla Ernst and sophomore defender
Mackenzie Smith earned First Team All-MIAA honors, junior midfielder
Aspen Patterson garnered Second Team All-MIAA accolades, sophomore midfielder
Kate Ricker was recognized as Third Team All-MIAA, and junior goalkeeper
Kristen Wright and freshman defender
Hazel Douglas-Trotman earned Honorable Mention All-MIAA honors.
A native of Raymore, Mo., Ernst earned her first-career All-MIAA honor after leading the team and the MIAA in goals scored (12) and points (29) in 18 matches during the regular season. In addition, she posted a team-high five game-winning goals in regular-season action.
Smith, who hails from Kansas City, Mo., secured her second All-MIAA accolade of her career after helping the UCM defense post 11 shutouts in 18 regular-season contests. She played the second-most minutes on the team (1,499), trailing only goalkeeper
Kristen Wright, and scored one goal for two points.
A native of Lenexa, Kan., Patterson earned her second-career All-MIAA recognition by scoring two goals and dishing out four assists for eight points in 18 regular-season matches. She has also played for 1,447 minutes, which is the third highest on the team.
Ricker, a native of Shawnee, Kan., was named All-MIAA for the first time after playing in all 18 regular-season contests and tallying three assists for three points.
Wright, who hails from Lenexa, Kan., was named All-MIAA for the third time in her career after going 10-4-4 with eight shutouts in 18 matches during the regular season. She made 61 saves and gave up just nine goals on 157 shots faced for a 0.52 goals-against average (GAA). In 1,554:35 minutes in goal, Wright tallied a save percentage of .871. She ranks second in the MIAA in saves and is fourth in both shutouts per game and GAA.
A native of Blue Springs, Mo., Douglas-Trotman picked up her first-career All-MIAA recognition after helping the Central Missouri defense compile 11 shutouts in 18 regular-season matches. In addition, she netted two goals, including a game-winning goal at Newman Oct. 19, for four points.
Jennies Soccer is the number three seed in the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship tournament and will face No. 6 seed Central Oklahoma in a quarterfinal match on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
