WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (10-10, 5-6 MIAA) fell to the Nebraska-Kearney Lopers (7-11, 5-5 MIAA) by a final score of 57-52 on Thursday, Jan. 30, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
The Mules led by one at the break thanks to a buzzer beater three-pointer from forward
Tim Jordan Jr. (14 points and five rebounds overall) who led the half with nine points connecting on 3-of-4 attempts from beyond the arc.
Nebraska-Kearney picked up their seventh win of the season ending the contest on a 9-0 run led by Chase Thompson's game-high 16 points and six rebounds.

DeAirius Barker paced the Mules offensively with 15 points adding three rebounds, plus, guard
Kyran Tilley ended the game with eight points and two steals.
Central Missouri outscored the Lopers 16-4 off the bench and 10-7 on second chance points as senior
Jack Chapman had a team-best seven boards and five points while forwards
Elijah Farr (five rebounds, two steals, and two blocks) and
Josh Nwankwo (two boards and two assists) each tallied four points.
Central Missouri returns to the court on Saturday, Feb. 1, as they continue MIAA play hosting the Fort Hays State Tigers (13-6, 6-4 MIAA) beginning at 3:00 p.m. inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center in Warrensburg.
