Mules Football 2024 Game Day Information

Complete UCM game day information for all 2024 regular season home football games is available below. 

NEW Mule Fan Zone
  • For the first time, UCM Athletics will feature a new pregame tailgating area called the "Mule Fan Zone".
  • The fan zone will feature live music, inflatables for kids, a face painter, community tabling and more! 
  • For all home games, the zone will be in the grass area, west of the parking lot on the west side of the stadium near Warren Street. It will open at 11 a.m. and close a half-hour before kickoff.
  • The Mule Fan Zone is free for all fans. Join us!
Alcohol Sales
  • This fall, the University of Central Missouri (UCM) is introducing alcohol sales at select athletic events, including football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, and baseball games. This initiative is designed to enhance the fan experience while continuously ensuring a safe and family-friendly environment.
  • Alcohol sales will include beer, wine, and seltzer, available in 12-ounce portions. These beverages will be sold at a separate, designated point of sale in each venue, distinct from regular concession stands. For football games, alcohol will be sold at the southwest concession stand near the main entrance.
  • Fans must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol. Upon purchase, all fans will be carded and wristbanded, with a limit of two alcoholic beverages per transaction. 
  • Alcohol sales will begin one hour prior to kickoff at football games and end after the third quarter.
  • Alcohol sales will continue in suites and other designated areas as previously established. All tailgating activities in the parking lots must conclude and the area will be cleared at kickoff.
Cardinal & Black Fund Tailgate & Parking
  • Will open at 11 a.m. (two hours prior to kick-off).
  • Complimentary food and drink will be provided to current, registered Cardinal & Black Fund members at the Cardinal & Black Fund Tent (located next to the Mule statue on west side of Walton Stadium)
  • Cardinal & Black Fund parking lot will be reserved for CBF members only. Parking passes will be available for pickup with Ryan Snyder at the Hughes Center beginning Tuesday, September 3. Passes will also be distributed to CBF members on game day if they have not yet been picked them up.
  • CBF clear bags will be available for registered Cardinal & Black Fund members for pickup with Ryan Snyder at the Hughes Center as well as the Cardinal & Black Fund Tailgate area prior to each home game. Limit two per household.
  • CBF members will check in at the north end of the tent for access to complimentary food and drinks.
  • Thank you to corporate partner Culvers, for providing week one's food spread for CBF members.
Clear Bag Policy
  • UCM Athletics is implementing a clear bag policy for all home football games this season. The goal of the policy is to promote safety and reduce wait times for entry into Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field for fans on game day.
  • Clear bags (typically made of plastic, vinyl or PVC) that are 12 x 6 x 12 inches or smaller will be permitted.  One-gallon, resealable, clear plastic storage bags are also allowed. Small bags, the size of a "clutch", no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches are also permitted. Finally, items purchased at the University Bookstore and carried in a bag from the bookstore will be allowed.
  • Fans will be allowed to bring in factory sealed full clear water bottles and empty clear plastic water containers. Exceptions will also be made for diaper bags for small children and medically necessary equipment. 
  • Prohibited bags include non-clear or oversized purses, backpacks, printed pattern plastic bags, tinted plastic bags, duffle bags, fanny packs, reusable grocery totes, mesh or straw bags, large totes and cases (for camera, binoculars, etc.). Clear water bottles that are not factory sealed may be brought in if they are empty. If there are contents in the bottle, fans will be asked to dispose of the contents before the come into the gate. Nonclear water bottles (including but limited to metal, tinted, or colored bottles) are not allowed.
  • Members of the Cardinal and Black Fund will be given a free UCM branded clear bag as a membership gift to be used to enter the stadium. Members of the Cardinal & Black Fund may pick up their clear bags with Assistant AD for Development, Ryan Snyder prior to the season or at each of the Cardinal & Black Fund Tailgate area prior to each home football game.
2024 Mules Football Promotional Calendar

Concessions by Sodexo
  • Sodexo will have a new, upgraded and faster AI self-checkout at concession stands this season!
  • The new self-checkouts will help speed up the concession's transactions process as much as four times faster!
  • Four self-checkouts will be available.
Yuengling Flight Deck Information
  • Flight Deck will be in the north endzone.
  • Check in will be in the west end of the tent. The tent may be accessed through the northwest stairwell inside Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field.
  • Area is reserved for Cardinal & Black Fund members only or select UCM Athletics reunion teams or events.
  • Other access is not permitted.
  • Concession food is allowed to be brought into the Flight Deck area by CBF members or UCM Athletics reunion teams or events attendees.
  • Alcohol purchased in the Flight Deck may leave the designated area but cannot leave the stadium or be provided to underage fans. 
The Mule Walk
  • The Mule Walk will begin at 10:15 a.m. each home game except Oct. 26 vs. Washburn, which will begin at approximately 10:45 a.m.
  • The football team will exit the Elliott Student Union near the Smiser Alumni Center on Holden Street and cross the street to Selmo Park, passing the Friendship Tower and Terry Noland Mules Football Offices before entering Walton Stadium.
  • Fans are encouraged to line the sidewalk to cheer on the Mules as they enter the stadium for game day!
No Re-Entry Policy
  • The university has updated its re-entry policy, with no re-entry allowed into the stadium once fans have exited.
  • Fans will have to purchase a new ticket if they exit the stadium and would like to re-enter.
Command Pass
  • UCM Athletics is proud to bring back the Command Pass for another season. All active duty military and their immediate family members can get into any Mules or Jennies regular season event for free (as long as it isn't already sold out) on the day of the game! Just pick up your tickets at the ticket window on game day.
Ticketing (HomeTown App)
  • Fans can download the HomeTown Ticketing app in the Apple or Google Play Store to purchase tickets or access tickets already purchased under their mobile number.
  • Search "University of Central Missouri" to view all UCM tickets for sale.
  • Once purchased, tickets will be available in the tickets tab of the app.
  • To avoid connection issues day of game, open tickets in the app and add them to your digital wallet.
  • Fans can also buy tickets online at UCMAthletics.com/tickets
Mo's Maniacs
  • Mo's Maniacs is the official youth booster club of UCM Athletics. Membership is open to all children aged 14 and under. Memberships start at just $10 and include great benefits such as a t-shirt, free admission to all UCM home, regular season athletic events in 2024-25, up to 50 percent discount on general admission tickets for family members (some restrictions apply), and having your name displayed all year long on the Mo's Maniacs Wall inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.
  • Register at the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center, Room 101, or at selected UCM Athletics home events.
Parking & Tailgating
  • Both General Tailgating & Game Day Parking lots are free of charge for fans to park on game day.
    • Lots designated as Game Day Parking lots do not allow tailgating of any kind.
    • Lots designated as General Tailgating lots do allow tailgating – Please see Tailgating Policy.
  • Lots designated as the Cardinal and Black Fund Lots are reserved specifically for Cardinal and Black Fund members and do allow tailgating (please see Tailgating Policy). A parking pass will be required for entry into these lots. If you are a Cardinal & Black Fund Member, you can acquire your pass by either:
    • Picking it up at the Hughes Athletics Center prior to the game during normal business hours, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (excluding holidays) or,
    • Giving your name to the Cardinal and Black Fund Parking Lot attendees on the day of the game when you arrive.

MIAA Network
  • All Mules football games will be available live online on a pay-per-view basis on The MIAA Network.
  • Visit TheMIAANetwork.com/UCMMULES to access each broadcast and sign up.
  • In addition, the Mules will appear on 38 The Spot in the Kansas City metro area twice as part of the new MIAA Game of the Week. UCM's home game Oct. 12 vs. Missouri Western and road game at Pittsburg State Nov. 2 will both be televised.
Radio
  • All Mules football games will air live on 1450 KOKO AM and "Your Country" 98.5 The BAR FM, as well as online at WarrensburgRadio.com.
