Jennies Basketball Rolls Past Lincoln Tuesday, 89-56

WARRENSBURG, Mo. – Taylor Weishaar scored a career-high 22 points and pulled down a career-best 12 rebounds leading Central Missouri Jennies basketball to an 89-56 win over the Lincoln Blue Tigers Tuesday evening, Dec. 17, inside the Jerry M. Hughes Athletics Center.

The Jennies (8-5, 0-2 MIAA) are scheduled to host Washburn (6-6, 0-2 MIAA) in a MIAA contest Saturday, Dec. 21, at 1 p.m. in Warrensburg. Saturday's game is Hoops for the Holidays, with Santa making an appearance from halftime of the Jennies game to halftime of the Mules contest.

Weishaar, a freshman from Wathena, Kan., scored her career-best 22 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor, including a 2-of-6 performance from three-point range, and a 2-for-2 showing at the free-throw line and snagged 12 rebounds for her first double-double of the season.

Lauren Frost added 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, Reese Schaaf posted her team-best fifth double-double of 2024-25 with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Cierra Smith compiled 16 points, rounding out the Jennies in double figures in the victory.

For the game, Central Missouri shot 48 percent from the field (37-of-77) and were 60 percent at the free-throw line (9-of-15). UCM outrebounded Lincoln, 52-27, and outscored the Blue Tigers in the paint, 60-26, and off turnovers, 19-5.

Imani Harris tallied 11 points, while Chase Giddings and Isis Sanders each had 10 points, pacing Lincoln (1-8).
