RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Five University of Central Missouri Jennies soccer student-athletes were voted to the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) All-Central Region Teams, it was announced Tuesday, Nov. 26.
Ashleigh Martin,
Caroline Cole and
Laney Reishus were First Team D2CCA All-Central Region honorees while
Izzy Joyce and
Andree Orcutt were tabbed Second Team D2CCA All-Central Region.
Martin, a senior forward from St. Charles, Mo., leads the Jennies with 10 goals and six assists for 26 points in 21 matches this season. Three of her goals have been game-winning goals.
A redshirt senior midfielder from Columbia, Mo., Cole has scored eight goals while dishing out a team-high seven assists for 23 points in 23 matches in 2024. She leads the team with four game-winning goals.
Reishus, a sophomore defender from Shawnee, Kan., has scored one goal while compiling one assist for two points. She is part of a UCM defense that has allowed just 16 goals in 23 matches while posting 13 shutouts.
Joyce, a freshman forward from Lenexa, Kan., who was voted the MIAA Freshman of the Year, has scored eight goals, including three game-winning goals, while tallying four assists for 20 points in 23 matches.
Orcutt, a redshirt senior midfielder from Overland Park, Kan., has tallied five goals for 10 points in 23 matches in 2024.
The top-seeded Jennies are scheduled to host second-seeded Minnesota State in the NCAA-II Central Regional Championship match Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m. at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg.
