SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – No. 13-ranked Central Missouri Jennies soccer dropped a 1-0 decision to the Augustana Vikings in the season opener for both teams on Friday, Sept. 1, at Morstad Field.
The Jennies (0-1-0) are slated to travel to Marshall, Minn., for a 9 a.m. match at Southwest Minnesota State (0-1-0) Sunday, Sept. 3.
Central Missouri outshot Augustana (1-0-0), 18-4, but couldn't find the back of the goal in the contest.
The Vikings netted what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 22nd minute when Hope Korte scored on a pass from Paige Bracker.

Ryann Clark tallied a team-best five shots including three shots on goal, pacing the Jennies in the match.
UCM goalkeeper
Sydney Beck (0-1-0) took the loss between the posts after giving up one goal in 90 minutes.
