FORT SMITH, Ark. – The Central Missouri Mules (1-0, 0-0) defeated the Ouachita Baptist Tigers (0-1, 0-0) by a final score of 72-66 on Friday, Nov. 10, in the opening game of the MIAA / GAC Conference Challenge in Fort Smith, Ark.

Adam Bohac picks up career win number 313 overall and his first for the Mules thanks to outscoring the Tigers 21-14 in bench points highlighted by freshman
KJ Vasser's 12 points (including two baskets from beyond the arc) and three rebounds, while forward
Jack Chapman had five points and three rebounds, plus, freshman
Tim Jordan Jr. added four points for good measure.

Keith Kiner III led Central Missouri with a game and career-high 16 points, adding a career-best six rebounds, as junior
Jalen Knott had a double-double (13 points, a game-high 10 rebounds, and a team-high three assists). Guard
Caleb Nero (11 points, a team-high three assists, and two rebounds) and forward
Josh Nwankwo (nine points and six rebounds) each collected a steal in the winning effort.
The Mules return to the court on Saturday, Nov. 11, as they take on the Harding Bisons in the finale of the MIAA / GAC Conference Challenge with tip-off scheduled for 4:00 p.m. in Fort Smith, Ark.
