JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (9-11, 5-9) fell to the Lincoln Blue Tigers (13-5, 9-5) by a final score of 57-49 on Saturday, Jan. 28, inside Jason Gymnasium in Jefferson City.
The Mules led 26-25 at the break as Central Missouri held a 17-0 advantage in bench points, but the Blue Tigers responded in the second half led by Kevin Kone's game-high 14 points and 18 rebounds.
UCM was led by forward
Jack Chapman's 13 points and four rebounds, while redshirt senior
Gaven Pinkley added 11 points, a team-high seven rebounds, and four assists. Guard
Mikel Henderson had nine points, two rebounds, and two assists; plus, redshirt junior
Garrett Luinstra ended the contest with five points and four rebounds.
Forward
Ben Fritz contributed four points and three rebounds, while guard
Jordan Hayes added a team-high six assists, six rebounds, and two points respectively. The Mules return to the court on Thursday, Feb. 2, as they host the Pittsburg State Gorillas at 7:30 p.m. inside the Multipurpose Building.
