  • No. 16 Central Missouri returns to the court for a pair of MIAA conference matches this weekend beginning Friday afternoon against Pittsburg State (2:00 p.m.) and Missouri Southern on Saturday afternoon (2:00 p.m.)
  • The Jennies are coming off a 3-0 week taking down No. 12 Northwest Missouri in five, Rockhurst in four, and Missouri Western in three.

  • Both matches will be available through the MIAA Network on a pay-per-view basis with coverage beginning at 2:00 p.m. both days.

  • The Jens finished the week with a perfect 3-0 record against No. 12 Northwest Missouri 3-2 (25-19, 25-14, 10-25, 20-25, 15-10), Rockhurst 3-1 (25-22, 18-25, 25-17, 25-23), and Missouri Western 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-11).
  • Central Missouri outhit their opponents .215 to .136 percent over the three contests.
  • Two Jennies had double-double performances in the win over Northwest including redshirt sophomore Chandler Vaughan with 53 assists and 20 digs (both career high marks), while redshirt junior Sydney Lierz recorded 14 kills and 13 digs.
  • Redshirt freshman Jenna Schulte had 16 blocks last week and is now leading the nation in blocks-per-set (1.55).

  • The Jens are ranked No. 16 in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches' Association) poll, moving up two spots from the previous week. Central Missouri is one of four teams from the MIAA to make an appearance on the list including (No. 2) Washburn, (No. 8) Nebraska-Kearney, and (No. 13) Northwest Missouri.
