WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Central Missouri Mules (5-4, 1-2) fell to the Lincoln Blue Tigers (5-2, 2-2) on Sunday, Dec. 11, inside the Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
The Mules held a 10-point lead at halftime but were outscored 44-32 in the second half. The Blue Tigers were led by Artese Stapleton (game-high 24 points, seven rebounds, and five assists) and Kevin Kone (22 points and 17 rebounds).
UCM was led by guard
Mikel Henderson's team-high 22 points, three rebounds, and three assists while redshirt senior
Gaven Pinkley contributed 19 points and a team-high five rebounds respectively. Sophomore
Ben Fritz added five points, a team-high five rebounds, and two assists; plus, guard
Trey Sides ended the contest with nine points and a season-high four rebounds.
Redshirt junior
Garrett Luinstra had a team and season-high five assists, four points, and four rebounds while forward
Yafet Haile came off the bench with six points, three rebounds, and two steals.
The Mules return to the court on Tuesday, Dec. 13, as they travel to Joplin, Mo. to take on the Missouri Southern Lions with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center.
