Scene Setter
  • No. 24 Central Missouri returns to the court for the final regular season matches of the year hosting No. 17 Washburn (Friday, Nov. 4) at 7:00 p.m. and Emporia State (Saturday, Nov. 5) at 6:30 p.m.
  • Friday's match against Washburn is Military Appreciation Night, all veterans and their families will receive free admission.
  • Saturday's match against Emporia State is Senior Night as we honor Cory Allensworth (Graduate Assistant Coach), Molly Cosmillo (Student Manager), and Rylie Barnum (Defensive Specialist / Libero) for their contributions to the program in a ceremony after the completion of play.
 
How to Watch
  • Both matches will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the MIAA Network with coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.  
 
Last Time Out
  • No. 24 UCM fell to the Missouri Southern Lions 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 21-25, 24-26) on Tuesday, Nov. 1, inside the Leggett & Platt Athletic Center in Joplin, Mo.
  • Outside hitters Tiffany Little (team-high 21 kills and three digs overall) and Kersti Nix (20 kills, seven digs, and two blocks overall) led the Jens offensively.
  • Defensively, UCM was led by libero Grace Winkelmann's team-high 18 digs, plus middle blocker Rachel Ziesman (seven kills and two digs overall) had a team-high five blocks.
  • Redshirt sophomore Grace Southern (eight kills and one dig overall) and middle blocker Jenna Schulte (three kills and two digs overall) each recorded three blocks respectively.
 
UCM in the Polls
  • The Jens are ranked 24th in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) poll. UCM is one of five teams from the MIAA to make an appearance on the list including (No. 10) Northwest Missouri, (No. 12) Nebraska-Kearney, (No. 17) Washburn, and (No.21) Central Oklahoma.
