No. 23 Jennies Volleyball Set for Missouri Western on Tuesday Night

No. 23 Central Missouri concludes their six-match home stand on Tuesday night against MIAA foe Missouri Western (6:00 p.m.).
Tuesday night's match against the Griffons benefits the Johnson County Cancer Foundation, to raise awareness for breast cancer research.
The Jennies went 1-1 last weekend falling to the Central Oklahoma Bronchos and defeating the Newman Jets.

How to Watch

Tuesday's match will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the MIAA Network with coverage beginning at 6:00 p.m.

Last Time Out

UCM hosted the Newman Jets to concluded Family Weekend with a 3-1 (25-16, 25-18, 16-25, 25-18) victory on Saturday night.
MIAA Offensive Athlete of the Week Kersti Nix led the Jens with 22 kills, while redshirt junior Sydney Lierz recorded 15 kills and nine digs.
Central Missouri outhit Newman in the match by a .244 to .164 margin, thanks to libero Grace Winklemann's team-high 17 digs and outside hitter Grace Southern's team-high five blocks.
Redshirt senior Rylie Barnum and sophomore Arley Anderson recorded 14 digs each, plus freshman Rachel Ziesman contributed nine kills (match-high .412 hitting percentage) on the night.

UCM in the Polls

The Jens are ranked No. 23 in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches' Association) poll, moving down five spots from the previous week. Central Missouri is one of five teams from the MIAA to make an appearance on the list including (No. 5) Nebraska-Kearney, (No. 10) Northwest Missouri, (No. 12) Washburn, and (No. 24) Central Oklahoma.
