  • No. 25 Central Missouri hosts a pair of MIAA matches this weekend ahead of Homecoming 2022 festivities against Missouri Southern (Friday) and Pittsburg State (Saturday).
  • Prior to Friday's match against the Lions, there will be a special ceremony honoring former Jennies' head coach Flip Piontek, for his 36 years of service to the program.
 
How to Watch
  • Both matches will be available on a pay-per-view basis through the MIAA Network with coverage beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night.
 
Last Time Out
  • No. 25 UCM dropped a 3-1 (21-25, 15-25, 25-23, 18-25) decision to No. 15 Northwest Missouri on Tuesday, Oct. 11, in Maryville, Mo.
  • Sophomore outside hitter Tiffany Little led the Jens offensively with a career and match-high 20 kills, three digs, and two blocks.
  • Chandler Vaughan recorded a double-double (team-high 44 assists and 16 digs), while Kersti Nix had 16 kills and two blocks.
  • Libero Grace Winkelmann added a career-high 28 digs, plus Rylie Barnum had 15 digs respectively.
 

UCM in the Polls
  • The Jens are ranked No. 25 in the latest AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches' Association) poll, moving down five spots from the previous week. Central Missouri is one of five teams from the MIAA to make an appearance on the list including (No. 8) Nebraska-Kearney, (No. 10) Washburn, (No. 15) Northwest Missouri, and (No. 19) Central Oklahoma.
