Soccer Hits the Road For Weekend Games

WARRENSBURG, Mo. (April 8, 2021) - Central Missouri Soccer competes in two spring games this weekend, taking on Central Oklahoma and Rogers State.

Central Missouri will first travel to Edmond, Okla. to face the Bronchos of Central Oklahoma. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Tom Thompson Field.

The Bronchos are 4-2-1 this spring and are 2-2 against MIAA competition. Despite their winning record, the Bronchos have been outscored 12-10 this spring. In UCO's last outing, the Bronchos defeated Newman 2-1 in Edmond. 

After visiting the Bronchos, UCM will travel to Claremore, Okla. on Sunday, April 11th for a 1:00 p.m. match against Rogers State. 

The Hillcats are 4-1 overall and 1-1 against MIAA teams. In RSU's last outing, the Hillcats defeated Missouri Southern 2-1 in overtime.

The Jennies are 5-3 this spring and have outscored their opponents 19-14. Through eight games the UCM defense has recorded three shutouts. Two freshman currently lead the Jennies attack as Sydney Leslie posts a team-high six goals while Carolone Cole has score four.
