• Jennies basketball is scheduled to travel to Joplin, Mo., and Pittsburg, Kan., for a pair of MIAA road games Dec. 16 and 18 at Missouri Southern and Pittsburg State. UCM is slated to play at Missouri Southern Thursday, Dec. 16, at 5:30 p.m. before taking on Pittsburg State at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18.

• Central Missouri enters Thursday's game at Missouri Southern with an overall record of 6-4 and an MIAA mark of 2-1 after defeating Northwest Missouri State Monday at home, 60-57.

Jennies in the Rankings
• The defending NCAA Division II Central Region Champion Jennies were picked to finish second this year in the MIAA preseason coaches' poll. UCM received three first-place votes in the poll.
• Central Missouri was voted to tie for first with Fort Hays State in the MIAA preseason media poll. The Jennies tallied 118 points and five first-place votes in the poll.

Nija Collier scored 25 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead the Central Missouri Jennies basketball team to a 60-57 win over the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats Monday, Dec. 13, inside the Multipurpose Building.
• Collier posted a double-double for the eighth game of the season with her 25 points on 8-of-15 shooting, including a 3-for-4 performance from three-point range, and 6-of-9 shooting at the foul line.
