LEXINGTON, Ky. -- University of Central Missouri Jennies volleyball dropped two spots to No. 4 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches' Association Division II Poll released Monday, Nov. 8.
UCM received 990 points in the poll after going 1-1 in two MIAA matches last week. Central Missouri swept Fort Hays State in Hays, Kan., 3-0, Nov. 5 before having its season-long 13-match winning streak snapped with a 3-1 loss at Nebraska Kearney Nov. 6.
The Jennies remained one of four MIAA volleyball teams in the poll. Washburn leap-frogged UCM and took over No. 2, while Northwest Missouri remained at No. 5, and Nebraska Kearney moved up three spots to No. 12.
Central Missouri (23-3, 16-2 MIAA) is scheduled to travel to Central Oklahoma Tuesday, Nov. 9, for a 6 p.m. MIAA match in Edmond, Okla., before returning home to host Newman for Senior Night Thursday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. inside the UCM Multipurpose Building.
