ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Missouri Western outscored Central Missouri Mules football, 28-0, in the fourth quarter to hand the Mules a 59-28 loss Saturday, Nov. 6, at Craig Field at Spratt Memorial Stadium.
The Mules (3-7, 3-7 MIAA) are scheduled to wrap up their 2021 season with a home game against Central Oklahoma Saturday, Nov. 13, at 1 p.m. at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field. Prior to the game, UCM will honor its 2021 seniors.
Logan Twehous went 25-of-40 for 400 yards and had four touchdown passes, while
Cameron Saunders posted 189 receiving yards on six receptions, leading the Mules in the game.
Missouri Western (5-5, 5-5 MIAA) posted 687 yards of total offense, including 343 yards rushing and 344 yards passing, while holding Central Missouri to just 66 yards rushing and 466 yards of total offense in the contest.
Reagan Jones went 17-for-24 for 324 yards, and Brandon Hall rushed for 124 yards with two touchdowns on 13 carries, pacing the Griffons.
